We are trying to set positive examples, but a few negetive ones do creep in. We are trying to teach our little one by going to services and having Shabbat dinner every Friday.
Oh, I seriously could NOT write the book on effective parenting! I sure have read enough of the books though. I just wish I could internalize more of it. I comfort myself with the knowledge that it's better to be an AP mom who loses it and yells too often, than a mom who believes kids are bad and need to be kept in line and that violence is a valid discipline method.
