My mum is known as Nana to her grandchildren, that is a popular name for grandmother which the very name make one feel old
Here in Israel I am known as Savta which is Hebrew for grandmother/nana.
Just like the expression yummie mummie I have coined…
Living in Israel is a ride sometimes bumpy and sometimes smooth but it has been the best place in the world to bring up children and now that my children are married is now even more dynamic.

Laurie said… - Yesterday, my three daughters and husband gave me a shower for my 60th birthday. It was such fun. Close friends and family including all my grandchildren hugging and kissing and, of course, yelling "Grandma"!.
The girls had register and I picked out trays, bowls and other things that have disintegrated over the last 38 years. I highly recommend your dropping the hint to have this type of party. The only thing that would have made it better is if they had made the guest buy things from my website, forBrideandBaby.com! As soon as I get some pictures, I'll post them.

Turning Passover to My Daughter
At 60, and 39 Passovers, it was time. I finally did it! I called daughter #1 and said "Please do Passover"...we need a new tradition. Lo and behold she said "Yes" and that's how families grow!
