The challenge of making Shabbat dinner special is especially difficult when mom is gluten free. We also are vegetarians. The mitzvah of two challahs is done separately so not to contaminate the rest of the meal. Me having gluten can be life threat...
Shabbat! My weekly project. Now that my 2 youngest kids are teenagers, Friday night table discussions must be interesting, fun and even funny. But never do I want to resort to giving a lecture. When they were little we use to do Shabbat plays.

- I’m a 36 year-old fun, hip, Rabbi who loves to bring people closer to God! I am married to my high school sweetheart (whom I met at shul when I was nine!) and our third child was born earlier this year(04/07). I am the first (and only) female rabbi to lead a congregation with her father, work in the same city in which I was reared, but sometimes fantasize about moving to NYC to be close to my brothers and sisters.
