After a busy, hectic week I look forward to Shabbat. Twenty-five hours of serenity, no news, no TV, no rushing here or there.

The challenge of making Shabbat dinner special is especially difficult when mom is gluten free. We also are vegetarians. The mitzvah of two challahs is done separately so not to contaminate the rest of the meal. Me having gluten can be life threat...
Welcome. You seem amazing. I am from NYC originally and now I am in VA. Where did u find that photo I love it. I would love it as my "pic" on google chat. I am on my way to your website now. You are truly an inspiration!
Okay--first--where did you find the amazing "Rabbi Barbie" pict? Too cool. Can't wait to get to know you better! So sorry I missed meeting you in the OC (maybe next year!) I'm actually going to be at the WOW Hadassah convention (are you going? Are you at all involved in the Hadassah chapter in Irvine/OC?) We should talk--maybe you'd like to write something for MJM.com? Something about being an MJM Rabbi. Especially about being co-rabbi with your dad--there must be a book in there!
Welcome, welcome. I'll check out your website tomorrow. Right now I must put the kids in bed. we've all been staying up way too late during winter break and we somehow have to get up at 6:30am tomorrow for school.

About Me:
I’m a 36 year-old fun, hip, Rabbi who loves to bring people closer to God! I am married to my high school sweetheart (whom I met at shul when I was nine!) and our third child was born earlier this year(04/07). I am the first (and only) female rabbi to lead a congregation with her father, work in the same city in which I was reared, but sometimes fantasize about moving to NYC to be close to my brothers and sisters.
