- About Me:
- I'm not quite Jewish - I come from a christian background with uncertain Jewish ancestry. I started looking into different streams of Judaism with a view to converting a few years ago. 3 years ago I took a 'karaite vow', pledging myself to the Jewish people. I dabbled in the messianic sphere for a while, trying to combine the two, but have finally decided I'm not sure I actually believe anything at all! So I'm no longer 'religious' but I try to be spiritual. I really like Jewish values and I'm very interested in Tikkun Olam. As a family we continue to be very interested in Jewish culture and Israel and continue to learn, whilst still maintaining friendly links with my christian friends and heritage. I consider myself "Jew-ish" and haven't ruled out formal conversion. I also have links to Sweden, and I homeschool my 4 children ages 12, 8, 6 and almost 5 in the UK. I'm mostly vegetarian, into attachment parenting, and a bit of a hippy (as well as a bit of a Trekkie!).

Do you know about BabaGanewz for your older kids? It's a cool site and it has a Parents page, too. My daughter is now old enough for JVibe, which is for high-schoolers (or precocious bar/bat mitzvah ages and up). Holler if you can't find them online.
